Easily Finding and Fixing Pixel-Sized Issues

Death, taxes, and things being off by a few pixels in your web page are the only guarantees you have in life. In this video, I explain how to use an image editor like Fireworks to make identifying and fixing pixel-related issues in your web sites or applications very easy. Future videos will touch upon the death and taxes angle.

The approach I describe is crude but very effective. There a handful of tools that help you take measurements of pixels. My favorite is Rooler by Pete Blois. I use it when I don't have Fireworks installed, and it has quite a few nice tricks up its sleeve.
