Pixel icons. 16 + 24.

All 1,947 default-color emoji subjects, hand-drawn natively at 16 × 16 and 24 × 24. Neither size is a resize of the other. The 16px set reduces each subject to its essence and redraws it in the view pixel art does best, often a flat side profile. One black outline runs round the silhouette; inside it, parts are told apart by tone, and black is kept for holes, deep crevices, face features, overlaps of similar colors and line-art symbols. The 24px set has room for more, so every separate piece and important inner shape gets its own outline. Solid forms take one light from the upper left; symbols, flags, print, light sources, water and screens stay flat.

The site's Pixel and Platformer styles use the 16px set. The 24px set is its larger companion. Skin-tone variations are omitted.
