    The tutorial on installing apache+php is WAY outdated
    it's from 2004, and stuff changed (links, how to set up)

    Edit: XAMPP is awesome for little projects, and much easier (and actually worked for me) than installing php, mysql, apache, etc one by one

    they should replace it with double click install_xammp.exe

    You can never underestimate the stupidity of the general public.

    im guessing they still have that up for people running older versions of apache (why anyone would do that is beyond me) but hey. Its a little piece of the past
