can you upload .zip files via PHP?

Have built a file upload system for a client, now one field needs to upload zip files and I'm getting very inconsistant results with upload tests.

Anyone have any advice information on this aspect of file uploading?

Yes you can they should be treated as any other file. Maybe give a little bit of code to show what your doing (... although i can't imagine why it would except one file and not others).

//edit, if your checking file extentions don't forget to lowercase them before checking... a lot of people/programs use .ZIP.
