    CSS: make div stay at bottom of div

    Hey. I need to get a div to stay down at the bottom of the parenting div. Css isnt a strongpoint for me, so whats the best way to go about this?

    um...i've had difficulties with that...i think on solution was




    within css so it could be like this:

    .footer { the above code }

    experiment with them...i think it's best to set your page with a fixed height anyways, so then you'd just state a fixed size.

    it depends what you're doing.

    Use "making the absolute relative." Do something like this,

    [highlight=css]#parent { position: relative; }
    #child { position: absolute; bottom: 0; }[/highlight]

    This will make #child go to the very bottom of #parent.
