Hello, there! ¡Hola! Bienvenido. Aloha. Vannakam. Nǐ hǎo. Hallo! Kon'nichiwa. You've reached the bio page for Kirupa Chinnathambi:

One of Kirupa’s favorite things to do is write about himself in thethird person. It’s a skill that he has been honing for many years, ever since 1999, when his first published book needed an author bio.

When Kirupa is not writing about himself, he likes to imagine, build, and ship things that people love. By day, he is a Product Manager at Google, working on on the ultra-cool IDX. At night, he creates a boatload of content to simplify complicated topics around programming and product development. You can see all of his writings and videos on this site, but he does cross-post on a bunch of various social networks such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram as well.

Besides his online writing, he has written a handful of best-selling books for major publishers like O'Reilly, Pearson, and Addison Wesley:

These books can be found in both virtual and physical stores all around the world.

Outside of technical activities, Kirupa considers himself to be a rugged indoorsman. He lives in the suburbs of Seattle with his wife Meena, daughter Akira, cat Pixel, and floof Inji.
