Felt 2 (murs & slug)

i picked up the new felt 2 album today and its pretty damn good!! i was rather disappointed with the first felt album even though i am a big fan of murs, slug and the grouch. ant did the production on this release and its top notch. murs and slug really shine through as well - probably the best thing ive heard murs do since 3:16 with 9th wonder. theres a website: www.felt2.com but there not too much to it if youre looking for more info.

I'll have to check that out. I love slug (atmosphere) and also ant's production work. I'm not too familiar with murs, I was i sent a song by him/them and I liked it though

murs is originally from this "crew" called the living legends. they used to be from the SF bay area (the east bay to be specific) but the moved to LA a few years back. murs, in my opinion, is one of the few from the LL crew that i like - the others being eligh and the grouch (the producer on the first "felt" album). the rest of the LL crew im not too into but they have a pretty large following.

another great album to check out from murs is called "Murs 3:16 the 9th edition". its murs and 9th wonder (from little brother) on def jux. everything ive heard from 9th wonder has been really f'n good. if you do a little p2p searching you can find a bootleg album that 9th did called "god's stepson" where he took nas' god's son album and wrote new music for it. its really worth checking out...

i was also wanting to buy the new little brother album but they didnt have that in stock ive heard maybe 3 or 4 tracks off of it and they sound amazing and ive read nothing but good reviews so im really looking forward to picking it up.
