Slide up, slide down menu

Hi all I was wondering if anyone could help me. Im creating a menu for a website that slides up and down. I found this....

I have been able to follow it, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the code or any ideas on how to have a block background colour on the main sections.

Heres my zip if anyone can help that would help me alot.

Thats great thanks, altho now my client wants something different, so have to scrap this idea but thanks for your help.
