Quick little history: As you know, EA bought the rights for the NFL for the next few years. In response, 2K games, the company that brought MLB 2005 for the PS2/Xbox, secured the rights for the MLB, but with a "but". This but says that any first party developer (Nintendo, SOny, Microsoft) can use the MLB lisence, but not any third party companies (EA). I saw something a while back called Nintendo Penant Chase Baseball, and looked it up at Nintendo.com. The game seems to be full of everything you'd want...Since 2K games is one of the companies that think that Nintendo GameCube owners don't play sports, there'd be no MLB game next year...is this Nintendo's response? Let's just hope that Nintendo pulls off one hell of a game, just to rub it in 2k's face!

BTW, its not that I hate 2K, or agree with EA, but at least Madden will be avaliable for every system, where as MLB 2006 won't...
