    Vote for your Favorite Entry!

    Hi everyone,
It's voting time! Thanks to our awesome judges, we narrowed all of the entries down to the five you see above. Please take a moment to check out all of the entries and vote for the one you like the most. (Each entry name is a link - so you can just click it to see what the entry looks like )

Voting will end on Monday, April 29th at 1:30 AM.

    Guidelines
Remember, keep it fair. Spamming everybody you know to vote for a particular entry is frowned upon. Registering multiple accounts to vote for an entry is disallowed as well. If I detect unsportsmanlike behavior, everything up to disqualification of an entry is fair game. Hopefully it won't get to that

    Meet the Judges
These final list of entries is made possibly by our judges:

Be sure to check out David's awesome startup (if you live in SF), spam Mike on LinkedIn, and thank Hope for sponsoring the prizes and helping make this contest happen.

    Cheers,
    Kirupa

I guess they don't understand what best entry ever means.

Why wasn't Jezzamon's entry included in the short list? It was far better than some of the others chosen The only reason I can think of it violated some of the rules somehow? But anyway thanks for the time taken to review and judge the entries it was a fun competition!

I was sitting here thinking the exact same thing, his entry was simply in a class of its own.

Also, I do feel TheCanadian's entry should at least receive an honorable mention.

I'll make sure to give a special mention to jezzamon's and TC's entry after all of the results have been announced

Although it is a good entry and the story follows the concept of blue circles, he essential face the same problem I had.
He(and I) didn't manage to release the blue circles from their fixed point. If Jezzamons entry would have moved the circles in the animation, as an effect of the animation, I would have agreed, but they don't, they are essentially fixed point in a grid.

So, if the circles would have been affected by being lit, either by volume(oversized, pushing), gravity or just random wiggling, the case would have been very different.

Ah but did you watch it carefully, some of the circles do actually move i.e. the "person" and some circles just the size/intensity of them change

I'm not saying it is a bad entry, I don't think that, I'm saying the blue circles are inferior to the animation, and this is persistent throughout the animation.

if he had worked with this level of the concept, I'm certain he would have been in the top five, but he didn't...
