posts"Similar threads"
Was this added recently, or did I just never notice the "Similar Threads" box at the WAAAY bottom?
Anyway, it might be of more use if it is a bit further up (just so it's at least before the footer) so it's more noticeable.
I don't really use it much for day to day forum browsing, but it is quite handy when you have a specific thing you are searching for and that one thread didn't really specifically go into what you need. Then there are more similar alternatives.

It was around a long time ago, and then removed a long time ago. However, the threads that already had 'similar threads' lists didn't have the lists removed.

Would you all want that back? I wasn't sure why it was removed originally.

It seems useful, yeah.

postsSo, how does it calculate that?
Does it look at tags, the title, or are they assigned manually?Blog article of the month: Why My One Line 'if' Statements Are Unusual

It's not manual. Its existence predates the tag feature, IIRC, but it probably uses the title and maybe the post body as well. Tag support might have been added at some point, too.

postsNice. Do you think it would be possible to bump it up a notch, moving it to right after "Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread"? It seems a bit far down.
