    I think it started last night or is it still going on? I'm confused.

    Oh well. I'm like you and just use the bar built in to the browser.

    Does everyone see the same image today? I'm seeing a weird piece of playground equipment.

    Same here.

    I'm seeing a big colorful circle thing that's on a floor. It's really enhancing my search experience.

    I really do like the background images that you can find on bing, but that is partly because the entire page is designed with the existence of an image in mind.

    Google could have a winner with the background images provided the text laid on top of the images was actually legible.

    Great, now even Kirupa is { facebooking | twittering }

    Maybe getTimer() or TweenMax is the answer to your problem . . .

    Maybe it's broken in IE, but in Chrome, it's usually white text with a gray shadow, so it's easily legible on pretty much every background.

    The last time I saw Kirupa browsing the forums, he was actually using Chrome (according to his user agent, anyway).

    off topic:

    I was doing something with my own user agent at the time (it gets cut off in the "Who's Online" display) Kirupa's username is just alphabetically close to mine.

    Yep. I heard that they had some issues with (many) people not being able to disable it, even though that was supposed to be doable, so they just ended the forced background feature showcase early.
