    PHP Code:
    // if the date is greater than today
    if($date date('Y-m-d'))
    {
    // show record

    "You are playing a very dangerous game"
    "Change always is"

    If the previous one did not work then...

    PHP Code:
    // if the date is greater than today
    if(strtotime($date1) > strtotime(date('Y-m-d')))

    // show record

    date('Y-m-d') means today's date
    strtotime(date('Y-m-d')) means today as a timestamp

    In what format are your dates? timestamp? Y-m-d?
    "You are playing a very dangerous game"
    "Change always is"
