XML Affilate Web site help?

I have signed up with an affiliate site which is provided me XML files and etc... what i want to know is. is it easy enough to do a web site with those xml files? or do i need to have advance programming Experience i have a fair knowledge in php and mysql.

any idea or any tutorials to do a site like this.

PHP tutorials would be great.
