Everybody! This is important. In a few days, these forums will be moving over to using the totally sweet Discourse platform. To ensure this migration happens smoothly with no loss of content, these forums are currently in a read-only mode. I do apologize for the inconvenience.

There is never a good time to turn the forums off for an extended period of time, but I promise the new forums will be a billion times better. I'm pretty sure of it.

See you all on the other side in a few days, and if you have any (non-technical) questions, please e-mail me at kirupa@kirupa.com. For technical questions, try to find a tutorial that corresponds to what you are looking for and post in the comments section of that page.

How to create an easy to update website

I'm looking to create an on line magazine and the content needs to be changed frequently.
I was wondering what would be the best program to develop it Flash or Dreamveawer.
    Thank you
P.S it's a magazine for young people and has to look hip and edgy

you have a very broad project. meaning what you want will take more than one program and skill set.

are you looking to keep archives of this magazine?

do you need it to be updated online or uploaded from a set of files on your computer?

will this be a sequence of images linked to one another? or text-based html/css?

these are only a few questions needing to be answered before I can give you any advice on what program to use.
