    Barcode Application development for Zune

    I'm completely new to Zune
    much I Know is that XNA is used for developing games for Zune
    But right now that is not of my primary interest

    I want to develop an application that can be run as a background task in Zune which gathers information regarding which files are played in a log file and transmit it to the PC whenever i connect my Zune to a PC


    I want to know what is the best programming language that can be used which shall serve my purpose
    any help will be appreciated

    I think you want C#.

    Good luck with learning XNA its actually put together to make it really easy plus there are tons of tutorials online.
