Does Premiere Pro import WMV files?

Does Premiere Pro import WMV files? Im working in a Mac and I can't. If I work in a Windows PC would it be able to import them? Is there a plug-in I have to install to make it work?

yep sure does! works on pc in Premiere Pro cs3, not sure about cs2 or mac... what version are you running?

it works on pc, but i read it can't for macs. try flip4mac.com ,they've got a good converter for wmvs

You can use a free piece of software called MPEG StreamClip, it works great. Convert to .mov files, then import to project. Check out the article on converting .wmv for premiere pro cs4.
