mailto not working in a Flash projector
I have a projector, which includes a mailto link, when I try to use it in Windows, the mailto does not work.
Can anyone help me?

getURL only works through a browser window if Im not mistaken.

getURL("mailto:frank@george.com", "_blank");
only problem with this is that opens your browser, then opens your mail client... not very professional.. Have you thought about using a mailscript(php, asp...) and a flash form instead?
edit to post... another option may be hidden in the FSCommand - using a javascript to force open the mail client... could be worth a look into...Last edited by codemonkeypete; December 7th, 2005 at 09:16 PM.

Does anyone have any insight into this issue? It seems bizzare that no-one has found a solution for this.
