What do you use for inital design/concept in flash?

Hey there, first time poster here!

I am very eager to know what application y'all do your inital designs/comps in for flash websites... Do you just use Flash itself or use illustrator/Freehand or Fireworks???.... what have you found that gives the best results?

I've got an idea or so burning in my brain, I want to use one of the above 3 apps to do the main ground work in, and before I begin I want to know I'm doing the right thing....

i use photoshop and then save pieces and take them over to flash.

i think it's best to mock everything up as easily as can be done. ie - just use the drawing tools in flash. then flesh everything out with all your fancy graphics.

sketch in minds > PS/Illustator > Flash

Pencil and paper: easiest way and probably most practical way to flesh out concepts. Then lay the groundwork in your graphics app and go to Flash from there.

I generally use Illustrator because you can save your images as .swf files and import them into Flash and the file size is much, much smaller!

Pen and paper, I do tons of sketching.

I would sketch it out first, then use PS/ AI to create a digital mockup, and then export to Flash as a guide.

First think about it>pen and pencil> flash (make it work)> any app to do the graphics> replace flash graphics with new graphics.
