Saving Slices for Web; Photoshop CS/2
Hi,
Hope you can help me with this query. I've been web designing for a few years now, and one of the best features of photoshop/imageready is the amazing "save for web" feature.
I was wondering is its possible to "save for web" on a single slice?
at the moment, when I tweak a single slice in a .psd file I have to create a temp directory, save for web on the whole thing (generates a html file and an images dir) go into the images dir and get the updated image (or slice).
The result is TONS of temp dirs that are only ever used to get that 'one' image. hope you can help, as it will speed up my productivity.
Thanks.

postsAfter you've sliced your image, go to save for web and select the slice select tool, and use it to click on the slice you want to save. Once you've got it selected, click save and change the save as type dropdown to images only, then change the "slices" dropdown to selected slice only.
