HBD!!!!
Hey phage, grease - can you guys check your private messages? :P
I need some information from the both of you for the prizes and such so that we can get the final results page up!
Glad you found this and noticed that I replaced the t, b, c, and d variables haha. I'm all for making your code lighter weight, but the one letter variables were going a little too far :P
IQ - the tags do not have to be shown in that format, and we could maybe even not show them at all. To answer your question, though, those are the tags I had in mind. Users would be forced to specify...
Hi everyone,
I have a quick question - one that I asked before, but this time I'm going to ask more directly :deranged:
What are your thoughts on consolidating the entire forum into one single...
Glad it got sorted out, though a part of me is still itching to get closure on why the original problem existed in the first place :P
It's ok. When Flash makes a triumphant comeback, things will go back to the way they used to be.
:smirk:
Well...the votes are in! The Top 3 are:
Phage's Entry 2
Another Entry from Grease
Chang's Entry #1
I'll make a more formal announcement later this week!
Thanks,
Kirupa

Cheers,
Kirupa =)
Why would you want to bet on Flash or any plug-in for that matter given that mobile devices are very anti-plugin these days? Even though Flash won't be going away anytime soon, it isn't the place...
Haha, that picture is great :P
jQuery's built-in animation methods don't hardware accelerate the result, so if that is important for you, you may want to consider alternatives like going pure CSS like you have. Kirk brings up a...
10 years is a long time haha. I don't think anybody who posted in this thread is still active here anymore :P
As part of explaining easing functions in JavaScript, I did a near-direct port of Robert Penner's easing functions and put them into a JS form that doesn't have a dependence on a third party library....
Ok, probably not for TC's.....:run:
I'll make sure to give a special mention to jezzamon's and TC's entry after all of the results have been announced :beam:
That is strange. The reason why I jumped on the HTML5 DOCTYPE issue is because that was a glaring difference between your working version on codepen and what you had on your live site.
I'll take a...
The DOCTYPE of your live site is not HTML5. Change it from what you have currently to:
<!DOCTYPE html>
That may fix the issue.
:)
Does this help: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.tonypa.pri.ee/tbw/index.html ? :)
I was sad to see it not in the final list also...:run:
Hi everyone,
It's voting time! Thanks to our awesome judges, we narrowed all of the entries down to the five you see above. Please take a moment to check out all of the entries and vote for the one...
Here are some examples: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1106377/detect-when-browser-receives-file-download :)
Nothing really changes with HTML5. You have more relevant elements like <article>, <header>, <section>, etc. that help identify sections of your document better, but I don't know how much emphasis...
How does spam taste? :P
