Thanks lost, nah I wish I could get my hands on 3D Studio Max. I made that image with Cinema 4D and Photoshop. =)

yeah I love art work done on the comp.. crystals are really fascinating as well. (every pun intended)

I work with Flash, PS, Painter6.0, Swift3D, and a little Poser.

I'm not very good though.

I think these are really cool, and I'd definitely be interested in reading some tutorials. My Photoshop skills are pretty minimal to say the least, and I'd like to be able to do something like this...

Thanks everyone, I'll start writing a basic tutorial on how to make textures for the crystal's in photoshop and how to make the crystal itself in Cinema 4D. But the problem is I don't really have any place to post them though, I plan on having screen shots of important steps. I cant post it into the forum right?

It is a thread of user submitted tutorials. When we get enough tutorials, Kirupa might put up a Design tutorial section that has things like Photoshop, 3dsmax and whatever tutorials we have subjects on for design programs :)

lol Pom..:P Cinema 4D is another 3D animation program like 3D Studio Max, but not as popular. I have no idea why I chose to work with this program when 3D Studio Max is superior. :-\ Thanks for the commnet Pom. =)

well I started on a simple tutorial on how to make crystals using PS and Cinema 4d, but was interupted by a mountain at work. I got all these orders coming in for greeting cards so now I'm stuck here designing these things. :-\ But I will get back to it as soon as things die down. =)
