3D Battle: Another one!!!!

Ok, who here has a looot of time on their hands and wants to further develope their 3d skillz?

I do, and I hope you do too.

-Free for all battle
-Unlimited polygons
-object/main idea yet to be decided by the participants.

Lets get some ideas going, then lets battle to the DEATH!!

-Mlk

Some Ideas:
-Piece of Furniture
-A Building
-Scenic Area
-A Tool (i.e. hammer, screwdriver, etc.)
-Electronic Appliance
-Space Wars Scene
-Zombie/Monsters

Please comit only if you know you have the time, and will finish the project. Due date yet to be decided after idea chosen.

I wasn't planning on starting another 3d battle for some time, since it seems most people are busy atm. but I guess I'll join, what modeling did you have in mind? Maybe like a space war scene or somethnig?

Modeling: prolly something on this earth(it will prolly be less complex(*hint* easier */hint*))
Just throw some ideas around and ill put them up, then will vote. :thumb:

I personally making like a space battle scene would be so easy. Just model some nice looking ships, and put them into battle position. Or how about modeling a house?

Im gonna watch the other thread do its funeral sink for a few more days before joining this one. It only seems right. I need time to grieve. :crying:

how about a street, and 1 team makes one side of the street, and the other team makes the opposite side. then we'll somehow have to share the files and someone renders the thing. then we decide on which side is better.
The teams should decide a "look" for their side and boy that would be soo sweet.

Good Idea? yes no?

I'd like to join but please forget the zombie thingy, I mean most of us can't hardly poly model, so let's forget organic modelling.

A piece of furniture sounds nice. Let's choose a decade and each do independent furniture from it !

I definetly love the town idea, with the two sides.

That city idea is good in an idealistic world, but would never get completed in this less-than-idealistic-world...

I think the furniture idea is the way to go. Decide on a decade, it'll give you enough artistic freedom to roam a little, but keep ya within enough constraints to make judging and comparing easy.

I'm not getting in this... yet... got some things that need to pan out.
