This probably isn't the best place to post this but i guess it is sorta relative since it is about action scripting...so heres my question....
i've decided finally that i need one of these AS books as i always get extremely confused :*( . so i was wondering what books the good guys on this board use or started with. I need some to help with a bitta the basics since i havn't started long ago.
I heard that 'Action Scripting the definitive guide' is good, do you guys agree? i'm still deciding...oh yea this is for flash mx by the way...thx

I'd say that if you want a good scripting book, go for anything published by O'Reilly. They're really in depth.

ASDG 2 for Flash MX is for Flash MX, don't worry :beam:

But once again, ask yourself if you want to become a hardcore actionscripter, of if you want to learn how to create cool effects...
