Hi, take a look at this, I'm no designer, so if you have any tips or ideas.....

if it is an AS portfolio why do you put something so simple up for critique w/o any of the AS examples. the site is VERY basic and there are a thousand sites that use the expanding box transition. my opinion is to change the font because it looks cheesy and is hard to read. Learn some photoshop and make the site more interesting than just bordered boxes w/ 60% alpha fill.

Right now it should be in revision, not quite showcase material.

Welcome to the forum, and I suggest do a lot of designs on paper first, before settling into the design you have layed out so far. The best way to do things is to have a lot of ideas and be able to choose from a plethera of them. That way you know you have got everything out on the table and are ready to go with the design you have chosen. I'll wait to see what you post next! (i'd scrap the original idea - - and like guinness said, learn some basic photoshop skills and get some better design goin on! :))
