I would make the links open in a blank window, so as to preserve the kirupa forum page. :)

Very cool, but if I click on your 'style changer' the style changes then i'm redirected back to the thread I clicked on your footer from. Its almost as if the page reloads to show the new style, but then calls a history.back() function (if it were javascript, otherwise it calls whatever PHP has for that).
