Alright here goes...I hate the logo. I don't think it is strong at all. I think your opening splash page doesn't need all the pixel fonts that you used. Over used pixel fonts tend to look bad, so try a smoother easier font like Verdana or Arial for those and use pixel fonts for small sized text. The blueish bar in the background of the splashpage doesnt need the drop shadow...(that and its too dark)...I'd work on the logo all over again and come up with something that is a lot stronger and a bit more creative...just make up a whole bunch of designs by sketchin them out and you will come across one you like a lot more than that I promise. Now as far as the site goes, the site is pretty nice. You need to speed up the framerate, because all the animations etc. are jumpy and not too smooth. The opening where you have the text and the logo bounce out of the way, they aren't really bouncing, because your aren't using any type of easing. So look that up and try that out, it'll be a much better effect. The site layout is pretty solid and the navigation is easy to follow. I love the graphic you have towards the left of the page. Very awesome. You need to incorporate that type of style into your logo pehaps. I personally would get rid of the moving graphic for the music. Just make it stand still and it would be alright. Other than that, I think it's a great start. You said not to hold back so I didn't, just in hopes that it would help you out! So keep going...it'll turn out great I'm sure...or at least great enough to you! ;)

on your splash page you need to change the word "Were" to "Where"
it's "Where creativity evolves".

It's too big. I'm on 1280x1024 and its pretty big. think about potential clients, who want the "latest technology" but aren't savvy... might not be on anything bigger than 1024.

i think you waste a lot of space. that music player is huge, the date/time is unneccesary, you've got a lot of uninteresting open space, and the menu is small and tucked off to the side.

i agree, the logo isn't very appealing.

the page transitions, however, are great, except they take too long. if they are preloaders, load them first and then do a faster mask. it just feels odd. and use more bounce, cause some of them are just square-y and not fun.

and check out that grammar. it's not great ;)

i think this thing has a lot of potential, but you need to bring it all together. i think you have too many ideas going on here, so just take the better ones.

I won't be harsh (sorry). For starters, change the overall fonts, give it a more professional look. I can't stand Wide and thick pixel fonts :P.

Good luck :thumb:

likes: colur scheme. on the money
buttons, simple and sexeh
music graphic
overall layout

dislikes: logo. too blocky sharp edges grate on me
transitions, the masks look like theyre floating over the content to me

up the fps as boondock said

there is a lot thats good in this site, it just needs more time spent on the transitions. they were the only amateur feeling bit of the site!

look forward to seeing any changes!

Were creativity evolves - poor quality + spelling mistakes (creativity & were -> where). Loading please wait - blurred. Music player + date/time is also blurred. FPS problem (increase).

those animations were so jerky it was painful to watch, speed up the fps. Also the button rollovers were like waiting for a train in the uk - slow and never on time :(

I think the logo is poor also, fonts blurred - this all gives a poor result.

If you tweeked those things you would probably find that you're site be a lot better.

Yep great feedback from all of you, I really appreciate it.... thats exactly what I was looking for.

No1, the site took me less than a week to from top to bottom.....
Have made couple of changes
---------------------------------
Speed up the rollover button, which I think makes sense
Changed the main nav text.... from pixel to true type font
As for the logo, I went through a whole bunch of logo that I designed, but many people seems to take interest in the one that I used....
Were, is not a spelling mistake, its a metaphorical word, I guess a lot people don't understand it, which in turn means changing, because most client will mainly think its a typing error..

Will be adding more changes... so please have a look aand let me know what you think.... oh and this time around I will be putting on my Flaming jacket,
Peace

Ermm I don't think its too big, considering that dimesion is only 850 *650, which should fit on anybody's page, not unless you using a 800 * 600 screen computer, which in case, I will probably suggest to the client that they need to upgrade there machine:pir:

The animations still don't run too smoothly. And I still think that the splash page could use some work. But you are improving none the less! Keep it up!

Cool, btw are you on about the splash page or the transition..... nevertheless will look into it.

Besides this, I am mainly concetrating on making the site solid in terms of the functionality and the text, if there is any spelling mistakes etc, I really think all the anim is minute, all that is ART, which this site is not about.....

Looking for some new ideas for my logo, but as for now I am sticking to this one, if anybody has some ideas, then don't hold back on letting me know....

I'm mostly talkin about the transition on the splash page, not the way it looks, I think with a new logo that it will look a lot better, but if you're happy with the logo, then just work on that transition. ;)

To be honest I was quite happy with the logo, even though I still get the unsatisfied feeling, most of you designers will know what I am mean, but alot of people around me thought I should stick with it.... and thought it was really good.
But form the feedbacks I have had on this forum, is a like a kick in the back side, to think up another one...

So I think a new logo concept and new splash transition will have to be put in the diary..... :tie:

Will keep you updated
