Just wondering what you all think of the liver version of www.norcalwaterpolo.com (http://www.norcalwaterpolo.com/), i'm still working on it atm so let me know wht u think.

Also i don't know why there is a pixel gap from the footer and content. And is there anyway to make it so that if you zoom off a Nav button quickly that the rollover doesn't stay up?

thanks,
-Jesse

Edit: also where has DDD been lately?

i really like this j, it's clean and refreshing like a umm...like a pool. :look: :D

Going with the gradient on the top was a great choice, it's got a good flow to it all. The only thing I'm not too crazy about is the bg tile. But I can live with it.

I don't like the logo up in the top left corner. Doesn't fit the rest of the site. Need a cleaner font than what you used, and perhaps make the ball 3D?? Just a suggestion, otherwise it looks clean and easy to navigate. Good work.

what do you mean the logo doesn't fit? :h: It's one of the strongest parts of the design. I might suggest to make it larger so it stands out a little better, but other than that it fits just fine. Simple and clean...

and what font are you referring to that he should change? the only one I can see is in the flash nav could be a bold or have a little more style. But everything else fits well. The text font is large and spacious like the rest of the site.

I am talking about the font that is in the logo...(to me) it just doesn't fit. But if he is happy with it, then thats all that matters. I just see the site as clean and crisp with sharp edges to everything, and the logo seems to not follow that format. Along with the text in the logo. That is just in my opinion. Like I said if he likes it, great! I'm just tryin to help.

Boon out ... again~ :pir:

Thanks Unflux! and i thought i wasn't going to get anymore critiques for this :)

Yea i think the logo would look better bigger but I'm not sure how to make the logo bigger because then i'd have to make the header larger and the people smaller, but if i make the people smaller they wouldn't overflow from the header :S

I am talking about the font that is in the logo... thanks i wanted to have the logo seem a bit aged since water polo is one of the oldest team sports. I should probably add the aged look to the 'COM' text and the blue in the ball also though to make it consistent.

Hey... nice job J

The onlly thing I still don't like is the text it's still rather bland formatting, but I can live w/ it. Umm... all around it's a pretty nice job, nothin scream about... but nice. :D

I really like it, it's a very nice clean design. My one real beef with it (and this is beyond uber nit picking) is the top of the flash at the top. The line is not clean, I'd go with a vector line there and not a raster one, using the line tool in flash or something. I dunno if that'd help it look cleaner, but theoretically it makes sense I guess, I'm not a flash guy obviously :P

But that's a really small concern, the rest of the site is really cool. I like it a lot, I'm quite impressed :)

Yea i think ur right. I actually redid the line in illustrator and imported it in photoshop but i resized it there and it made the line blurry. I should probably redo the line in illustrator to be exactly like that and import it into flash as vector. Thanks,
-Jesse
