looks very nice man. a few things:
- get a diff font for the preloader..maybe add a load bar also
- center the jonmdesign on that first page also
- don't put your name and "a haiku" by the actual haiku...it's nice otherwise
- make the "books" a wee bit bigger, maybe even widen the site..it's kinda hard to seen the things in the book while the links have a ton of room.
that was a run on
but it is a very nice site! love the style, very original! it also needs a picture of a cherry blossom tree somewhere with petals falling :thumb:

I enjoyed the feel of the site, and just the over all design. Very nice and a vast improvement on your other portfolio sites! Keep it up! If you need more nit pickin like chimp above i can do so, but i think he touched on the main things. good call chimp!! alright cheers!

Hey JonM, I've seen you around Mapcore :)
Anyway, I'm liking how the site is shaping up. I noticed that during the initial loading and sequence of things, it ran slower than it would when reloading the site, and going through everything for a second time. Not sure what there is to fix about that. Something about how the site flows doesn't work for me... theres no unifying graphical element between all of the mobile sections. Each section, in and of itself, looks fine, but in a group together they look a little out of place. For example, the Services section has one style of paper, the About section has everything displayed on the background, the Contact section has the text boxes displayed white rectangled with black borders (might I suggest a piece of paper with no bounding text box?) and the Portfolio section has a book. By themselves, they're fine, but you should think of a way to implement each section into the other.
Great showing though :)

omg your 3d renders and game work was awesome kudos to ya man :)
only thing I thought let it down was the sliding in of that book when you shose a new section, it just looked a little tacky - maybe a straight fade in/out will look better??
some very good works you have done in their :)

I'm "Lurker" over there, because thats pretty much what I do. For being such a big place, the internet can seem so small :)
Be sure to keep us updated.

I believe macromedia released the source code for that page turning effect a while back.

Nice work! :D
Everything seems great however compared to the rest of the site, i feel you could do more with the rollover effects.

It's chinese! not japanese! :P
Really nice man. I love how the animations are ambient yet slick. But the bitmaps & alpha stuff do make my computer moan.
