Just wondering if this is a common thing that happens to others and what they do about it. I set a table to what ever scale, then I enter text and the table expands even w/no-wrap checked. I've looked at other sites and notice that the put a spacer gif with a table w/3 columns and put the spacer's on the side columns, so I thought I would give that a try, but it still expands. I've set the width and height, but it keeps expanding. And when it didn't expand I keeped adding text then it started to expand after a certain point of text added. Closed it down and reopened it again and still the same problem.

Anythoughts

Cheers

If it's a continuous line it will keep expanding... but a regularly typed paragraph wont.

simplistik,

what do you mean by a "regularly" typed paragraph?

^^This is a regular paragraph... but if you type non-sensical things like

asdfkj;asjkf;lasjf;lj lkjsad ;fkj;asldjf lkjas;ldf;lasjhfl;has;dgh;sahdfl;hsalkn;sdnflsjad; lfjk ;asldjf;lsjdf;ljhsa;ldfh;lasndf;lnasd;ln;lasdjf;as jd;fl;slkjf; lakjs ;ldj;ajf;lkj l;kdjsf;laj ;lsj f;lhiuhwoehfophian;namv; ;ah eoia;fk;asdkjf

It's gonna consider it as one long word and expand it to meet the needs of the "word"... it doesn't auto hyphenate text. Although I do believe some programs will do it for you.
