I just got a new tablet -- before I had used the ones at my university, - BUT, with my tablet I have to get really close with the pen to move the cursor compared to the ones at my school --- does this depend on the stylus? or the tablet? or some driver?
THanks! :D

Hmm... as far as distance I don't think you can do anything about that. Almost sounds "defective"... although there isn't a gaurantee about the distance sensitivity. The only thing that you could try is chaning your tip feel to a softer setting, but I doubt that'll help you.

Well some of the tablets have a differnet level of sensitivity. Like the graphire and intuos have diff levels. So one may be more sensitive. But a graphire and a graphire should be fairly the same. ALthough I have seen some noticeable diffs between mine and a friends. Go into you wacom setting and play.

How close is really close? On my old graphire, I an hover like a centimeter or two and it will still work, and thats with two different pens (I own two pens for some reason xD).
