Photo Manipulation Experiment

Hey folks, I don't usually do Photo Manipulation, but I was thinking about getting into it, it looks fun :)

The below photo used to be a shiny metal sink.... a little Photo Manipulation with some brushes (not grunge brushes!), some filters, some overlays, and this is what I came up with......

wow lost, did you use the history brush? or better yet what does the history brush do? anyway i can belive how good that came out to be! very good work!

Hey dan, I updated my first post with the original image and the new image for comparison.

This is really my first attempt at "real" Photo manipulation.

Mdipi: No I didn't use the history brush, I used some of the standard brushes in Photoshop such as the soft brushes, and I created my own way of making the rusty grunge effect (came upon it accidently, but I like doing it)

well either way it looks very cool. good job. i hope to see many more peices of art in the future! btw do you know where i can get a picture of a REAL pineapple (this is to anyone btw), i need it for an image i am doing but google was all drawn...

No clue...lol, pineapples are an odd image to look for....LOL.

yes i said the same thing. its for a buddy icon i am doing for a friend, the text it Pineapple and they asked for a pic. i am not going to breack my back for her but i would like to do it...

What do we have here my young padawan, is this a split image including photo manipulation and grunge.....why, I don't think this image always had rust on it, now what did you do, degrade the condition of my sink! You damn damn dirty ape.

Don't worry about Danilangelo's sink, he has always been annoying. I hate two faced artists, they just make me sick! So if I took a picture of my wrecked truck could you do the reverse effect and fix it?

hey that image looks like the sink my old home... :( i moved out b4 the termites ate the floor so i was lucky....dam termites....
the image does look good , it looks rusted and its amazing what effects we can come up with by accident, i bet even the makers couldn't imagine the amazing stuff made! this being your first pic manipulation is a good try, u have a bright future ahead of you beta =)
