Hi, again my father wants me to help him in a graphic design thing which is not my area but IŽll give it a try....I searched but I dont know if im doing something wrong because I couldnt find info with the exact sizes used to make a brochure, the standard size, if anyone have that info that could help me also by giving me some directions or tips I should know?
Any help would be greatly aprecciated :)

Well you could just base the size of your brochure off a standard sheet of paper
8.5X11
and you wouldnt run into any problems
the only reason i could see not to use this size is if 1 your design encourages something a litttle diffrent or if the printer charges you diffren prices for diffrent sizes.

If you mean a basic tri-fold on an 8.5xll sheet, use these specs.
Set up your letter size as a landscape, then pull out two guides to
separate the page from left to right with the following measurements.
3 9/16" (this is your flap in) - 3 11/16 (this is the back) - 3 3/4 (this is the front)
Keep your designs within those flaps so when it's printed and folded, nothing is overlapping.

The standard size is usually just A4.
29.7cm x 21cm... allow 3mm bleed as well on each side.

A4 or Letter :)
Divide into three.
