4 things about the image.

1) Sharks don't generally jump out of the water.

2) They don't usually attack humans unless provoked.

3) The shape of the sharks head would not allow the shark to do anything but knock the swimmer off of the ladder. The angle of the sharks jaws put it at a disadvantage in certain instances, and this would be one of those times.

4) The shark just looks superimposed....

Hey Jubba, I have to disagree with your first statement.

I watch a lot of discovery channel and there was this thing on sharks, and it was all about how people believed sharks don't jump out of water, but they showed scientists who study it and they got it on film that they actually do jump out of the water, sometimes getting their whole body out of water, quite amazing really.

Not trying to go against you, just stating something I saw on the discovery channel a few months ago that I thought was very interesting :)

I saw that one too. The made foam seals and draged them behind a boat. A lot of the time the sharks jumped out of the water with a lot of force. SOme times there whole body was out of the water.

YEAH!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!! Please tell me that I am not the only one who likes to watch the discovery channel :)

That is the exact one I saw, those sharks messed those foam seals up...lol.

Yeah, i saw that episode too. I love the discover channel (especially when they have anything about sharks and snakes on). I also watch National Geographic alot. Yes they do jump out of the water. I never said that they "don't ever jump out of the water" I just said that generally they don't. And Im pretty sure that they would not jump out of the water towards a helicopter. The sound from the rotars would probly scare it away.

Jubba
November 20th, 2002, 07:41 PM
I also got an e-mail that said if I forwarded it to 100 people, then Microsoft was going to send $100 for each person I sent it to. I also got an Instant Message saying that if I didn't send it to 20 people then AOL was going to delete my account because I wasn't using it to the capacity that they needed me to.

Don't believe anything you see.

no way man, im still waiting for my Microsoft Check..

If its written then it MUST be true =) hehe jk

Jubba

At one point when that IM was going around about AOL deleting the account, I was getting so frustrated with the people that were sending them to me, that each time I got one, I replied to the person with something to the effect of:

"ARE YOU A F***ING IDIOT!?! AOL WILL NOT DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT!! IF YOU WERE HERE I WOULD GOUGE YOUR EYES OUT WITH A RUSTY SPOON! YOU MORON! I WISH YOU WERE HERE SO I COULD RIP YOUR ARMS OFF AND BEAT YOU TO DEATH WITH THEM! I HOPE YOU DIE OF EBOLA AND ROT IN HELL YOU STUPID PIECE OF COMPUTER ILLITERATE TRASH!"

Then I blocked them. I ended up blocking 83 people from my buddy list. I was so pissed off. Every time I get a chain e-mail it makes me want to just reply back with something that says:

'This e-mail contains a deadly virus. You are now infected. If you do not recieve medical attention (or forward this e-mail to 300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 in the next 12 seconds) in the next 2 hours you will die.'

Chances are, if they believe the microsoft and AOL one...they will believe mine.
