this belongs under Showcase & Critiques ;)

Too much grey & whitespace, but it isn't bad I suppose.

It looks ok, the bits don't seem to hang together though. Each bit just seems to be floating in space. Maybe it's just me :).

Don't like the layout. The red buttons don't look good on a gray background. Images are rough/dirty. The whole site needs improvement.
P.S. Flash videos need preloaders.

I don't think it's BAD, but it needs some cleanup for sure. It really looks unfinished to me, as the layout just sort of....ends. There's no footer or end to the pages. Visually, this can be a huge eyesore to visitors, so adding somethign at the end of your pages would be good. You can even repeat some of your header at the bottom, fade it up into the bg color. That would be one idea and shouldn't take you too long to do.

I don't dislike the choice in colors, I think it fits the site's content. But I would add a 3rd or even 4th color to brighten it up and broaden the palette for visitors. It will give you more flexibility in the design as well. Maybe yellow, or even some of the green that's in the logo. That would be a great contrasting color for highlights.

your drop menus are lining up improperly, in fact some are lining up WAY off the page.

Thanks guys for your opinions, about the drop menus that's the point to display them a little bit away, in the bottom of the site do you think that a little author thing would be a good think to put on it?

Where can I add those colors?

Why images look dirty?
The flash videos already have preloaders but I don't know why are not working ;(

First of all, i'd like to say Tommy is a *****. Every comment you make on just about everybody elses site is just unduly harsh and sometimes nonsensensical. Sounds like somebody wasted some years at design school or something. That being said, on to the site:

The design does appear to be unfinished as most persons have already stated. Another concern is the site name. http://www.limalamakabkihdo.com/ is quite a mouthful you know.

Keep working at it. You'll know when its finished when it 'feels right!'

The top picture does seem to be disconnected from the page, and the elemements don't link too well together. If I were you I'd buy a cheap book on design that covers page composition, it would help improve the feel of your page.
All in all though, I think it has great potential; line up some of your elements to connect them and you should be on your way quite quickly. Good Luck :)

I disagree to that totally [!] My opinion after reading alot of Tommy's comments for different site crits is that he knows a good site design when he see's one. He may be harsh but you cant call him a *****, thats not on mate. Its showcase and crits, if you dont like the comments then dont post your site for a review, easy as the ABC 123!!!

Well, you see, it's not always champaigne and oysters, but even beer and bonhomie. =) I'm not angry with anybody. If ppl think I'm harsh/rude, let it be. ;)

I think Tommy has his own opinions. Thats what is important about him. He shows everyone who just says oh thats great *nudge nudge wink* is afraid to tell what they really think.

The guy that I'm designing this site for choose that domain name, I don't like that domain neither.

Design Basics Index by Jim Krause: ISBN 0 7153 2053 X

Great book at a moderate price (£15) I really enjoyed reading it, lots of examples and stuff. It also touches on most important aspects. Buy it now!
