1. Two dead bodies are found, yet the police are able to identify them immediately. How?
2. Two cowboys walk into a saloon. Both order ice cold water. One drinks his drink then leaves. The other stays a while before drinking his drink and falls down dead. Why?
3. Romeo and Juliet are lying on the floor, dead, covered in glass. Water is everywhere and the window is open. How did they die?
4. A man goes into a restaurant and orders albatross. The waiter brings him food, and the man takes one bite. He excuses himself to the bathroom and kills himself. Why?
5. A large fire swoops across a forest. When it is finally put out, the invesigators find a man in a diving suit in the middle of the forest, complete with gas tanks and breathing aparatus. Why?
Now I acknowledge that I'm doing these from memory, so my explanations might not be all that great...

Aha.. you have seen these Kit. All of these puzzles are straight from the book I read. We play this game where you can ask yes or no questions.. they are much tougher without that ability. I have heard all these so I'll leave it up to the others to break their brains on these.

i know 3,4,5. they are fun in person when you can ask questions. they lose their meaning trying to do it this way, unless you do one at a time and let people ask questions.

1. I am sure something simple is eluding me here...
2. The poison is in the ice. Drink it fast ice doesn't melt, drink it slow ice melts poison mixes with water. =)
I also know 3,4 as well, but will leave some fun for the other people. =)
5. Good call Sintax321, I couldn't remember for the life of me. =)
Cheers!

Actually I heard that was a true story as well. Happened a while ago when they were fighting a forest fire. The guy went scuba diving off the coast, and he never came back. Family files missing persons, but they figured he got eaten by a shark or something. Can't remember where I heard that from though...

Sorry forgot to answer the questions...
1. Either they were famous, they were animals, or they were wearing name-tags...
3. Romeo and Juliet are fish. Their bowl fell off the table.

Well if i was taking over the world ( not planning to as of yet) i wouldn't announce to the world i am trying. I would simply go about my business and have a bunch of figureheads representing me while i work behind the scenes, let the dummies take the fall if anything goes wrong.....thats how the new dictators will rule the world or how they hope to rule...

I know 3 and 5. 3 is the fish thing mentioned earlier, and 5 was the scooping thing mentioned too :P
However, I don't know the other ones. Maybe for 2 the guy who drank fast poisoned the other guy's drink? But there's no thinking in that so it's probably wrong. Oh well =)

Whoops, sorry this one got left so long, I only tend to use the PC during the week, at work.
Right, well you got most of the answers already, with the exception of the two dead bodies one. They weren't tagged, they weren't John Major and the Queen (come on, Edwina Currie, surely?).
They were Adam and Eve. Recogniseable because they had no belly buttons. :)
