Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows the difference between a BS and a BA. I know one is of Science and one is of Arts, but what is the actual difference? I'm trying to decide which path to take for classes next semester.

Science is science, art is art :P

BA usually refers to things that deal with design I believe.

Not 100% on that.

it depends on the subject you're doing, if you're doing Physics, maths, computing or stuff like that it'll be a BS, if you do music, theatre studies, literature, it'll be BA.

Well, I'm going for archaeological anthropology, so I suppose I would go for a BS.

Hehe, BS...

Over here that means somethign a bit different, so we usually call the degree a BSc, for Bachelor of Science. Actually, I have one of those. :)

Sounds more impressive - Kitiara, BSc...

BS, oh the irony.
I'm only doing a lowly MA, though it could just as easily be an MSci since it's 50/50 music and computing science...

I didn't go to College. Didn't have the time or the money. Wish I had got the chance but I don't think I ever will. Archaeological was what I wanted to do up untill my last couple of years of high school. Don't know what happened:-\

Hey kit.... BS here probably means the same thing, if what it means there is bull ****, but that is what the degree is called, Frankly, I think it is the worst name for a degree. I like BSc better.

I don't like what you're insinuating...:)
But on the subject of the great man, I've heard it said that the reason he changed his name to Mr.T was because he was always addressed disrespectfully by his surname only in the dole office and he wanted to force them to call him "Mr". though that could be myth.

Anything I pull about the A-Team is purely from watching them as a teenager... =)

I think I have said it here before, my brother still quotes Hannibal...:P

As far as Mr. T is concerned, I had heard that same urban myth myself. Don't know if it is true... Maybe he is Jerry Mathers reincarnated ::wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more, wink wink, nudge nudge::
