Hi I am working on a site to hold templates and tutorials on web design. This is my first draft of a possible layout. I just want to know what you all think and what I should change to improve it. What’s your first impression? Nothing works yet, but I just want a simple good looking site that I can make into a PHP template and easily ad more content.

looks aight. Whats with the light blue swoosh in the globe? The buttons look interesting but the buttons and that bar look off somehow. The content header needs a background or something it looks strange because of the blue bar above it being angled upwards. The content area is a bit boring just a loot of content. It looks good but a bit too simple.

Untitled Document? Hm... very original. Try white background. Make the titles Flash, Photoshop - bold. The header lacks some graphics. Get rid of the globe - doesn't fit. Nice colors, btw. Keep up coming.

Thank you for the help j_polo9 and Tommy_S. So change up the header, (I will probably flash it and change the globe to different graphics) Please post more comments, anything and everything helps.
