I'm guessing this is done with AfterEffects and a sweet 3D rendering? Any thoughts?

cool..
im pretty sure those are images.. i only checked out section 1 and 2.. it could all be done in flash.. it does show significant slowdowns when some animations occur. (eg using the navigation while car is animating in). Which did you think are 3dmodels or aftereffect animation?

yeah kind of like a video because it blurs when it turns and moves and it is clear when it is still

yeah id say they have used video, you may notice the quality is turned up when the video has stopped, this helps to make it less chuggy
at least thats what i would do
but i must say it is quite good quality considering the short load time

The site is a pretty well done site, but it has to load after almost every mouse click, which really slows down the process, and made me leave after I had run into 4 loads, and not much content.

my bad had a closer look at the site, looks like video probably by after effects.. but like many have said its bandwidth happy.. i like how they added a gran turismo 4 section where you can see the new car in the game.. lol.. thats pretty cool.

i'm guessing they had the car ( or modled it) and turned it around on one of those huge turn table things. Then green screened out the turn table, and added the gradient background in with Ae or it could be using motion capture in a 3d program.
cool site, dosent resize to my window tho, grrr..

I am pretty sure that is done with a 3d mock up and after effects.....I did something similar with a chevy ssr....Saves a bundle on photographers and stuff. Plus the light panels above like fabricated....But it is a very smooth site

theres a mistake in the 3d rendering:
under Sleeker > Cockpit / Dash
As you zoom inside you will notice that its a manual, yet when you look at the pedals....well someone dropped the ball.
