Needing help/crit on my first ever flash site!

I need feedback on this unfinished flash website. The navigation doesn't go anywhere but the feedback is for the design. I also need help on how to display the content in the middle. Also, the font of text boxes that display on the rollover of the nav is not what I want but I cannot get the hand-written font to display in there. Any ideas?

Please remember that this is my first ever flash site and only my third website.

Watch the little men and tell me what you think of those. They are on a loop but the one at the top has a few actions.

i think it'll be easier to critique it when you get a little more stuff on there, cause all you can see right now is a couple rollovers and the cool little stick men :P
Might want it to be a little bigger though.. just my opinion

Not a bad start. I like the stickment and the font in the header, nice and informal. The rollover/tooltip on the nav is a little big and the font shows up here as ugly Times Roman. It also kind of obscures the rollover states of the icons. It also seems like pointing out the navigation is a little silly, if someone can't figure out how to navigate then pointing it out would just be a band-aid on a larger issue. Here I think it's just not needed. I'd agree with Marbles on the size issue, especially since the largish icons for navigation are taking up a fair amount of space. Whew! Did you get all that? ;) Hope it helps!

its ok, not bad for a first try.

first of all make the text rollover things smaller.

space out the buttons a little more they are bunched.

and try using external images, not all made in flash, also you dont need it now but make preloaders for when you have more content.

hahaha... i like it when little stickman kicked the other one! fun.

i like the style. About the size... well depends on the content.
I think you can make nicer icons. the smoke coming out of the chimney (how do you spell that??) is a bit a cheap idea. Maybe you can animate stickman entering the house?

The white lines are not the same width. Or make them the same, or bigger difference.

Erm... not a bad for a first try. Didn't get the purpose of the site. The colors aren't that best. The rollOver font is pesky. Try using Tahoma, Arial and the like (11-12px). The buttons themselves, are very big and that's why they look a bit rough. Also, don't like the font fot the logo. But since, it's a mock-up, can't say anythin' else about it.

you know i saw this... and its actually really refresshing.. despite the red... the fonts and the lack of content... just the way it was simple and amatuer made me smile... keep at it... work on the things the guys above me mentioned.. and i think you got a winner...
