I want to install MYSQL on my computer... I have been to there site but i need help on how to install step by step?

Im currently downloading MySQL... So the first hurdle is soon over... The nxt hurdle is to install it properly to work with my apache server... any good tutorial connected to configuring MYSQL with apache server...

download easyphp1.8 from here:

http://www.easyphp.org/

You get the latest versions of mySql, php, apache and phpmyadmin. It does all the setup and configuration for you without you even knowing. I've used it every where and never had a problem. Works great and saves you the hussle ;)

What you realy want is WAMP (http://www.wampserver.com/en/index.php)! it's great and it comes with a nice index and all :D
I could even give you a changed index if you install it to your C: drive to the default directory

I downloaded easyPHP (grrr french) but it doesnt start on startup - umm how can i make it start automatically
