Site Design C&C Please...

I need some comments on this design I made. I'm not sure I'm gonna use it as my own site, but maybe I can use it someday for some company.

is it Flash or html?? Either way nice look easy to see everthing. Kinda plain. Could cut off some of the blue... Unless other options form underneath it when one hovers over buttons.

- the striped header makes it nearly impossible to read the text on it.
- the textured blue menu area looks really photoshoppy and the lines are too similar to the striped header.
- the menu buttons are low contrast, making them difficult to read.
- the color scheme is really bland. nothing is eye catching.

overally, it just looks like a bad template. the layout isn't bad (although i don't know why the menu section is taller than the header), it's just the rest of the design needs a lot of work.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. The header and menu are flash and the rest is html.

really good improvement - looks waaaaaaaaaaayy better than it did before.

you could up the fps though cos the button rollovers are a little jumpy.

nice though (the flash header).

nice improved header. Well done- but can't you find a better font for "rainman.nl"? Kind of anti-climactic, no?
