Is there a way to let a button click save off a frame of a movie clip as a gif or jpeg file?

maybe in MX. I haven't found a way in 5.0 yet. There is a print function which will send the current content of the Flash production to the printer.. but that's about it as far as I can find.

You CAN however create jpg's upload them, and then make links in your movie to those files. It's a little more trouble, but that's why MX is better. Less trouble. :)

MX doesn't allow this either.

That I know of at least.

Generator allowed this....

Therefore, if I know MM, there is a way somewhere still...

Of course, I don't know it, but someone else may...

Rev.. I am not very familiar with Generator. I bought Flash 5 does this mean I also have Generator. Is it practical for me to try and use Generator to solve this problem?

Thanks everyone...

They don't make generator anymore.
