Loading XML from a URL into Flash, XML in FlashMX in general

Can a Flash animation load XML from a remote URL, e.g. 'http://www.something.com/something.xml' and parse the XML in a way similar to XSLT?

Does anyone know of any good tutorials on working with XML in Flash?

Is this feature specific to FlashMX, or can I accomplish this in Flash5?

I'm familiar with XSLT - can I do any form of XSLT-like functions within Flash when working with XML? Or do I have to reinvent the wheel?

I'm learning Flash and would like to use it primary for rendering data from XML.
