I suggest you tell us what the controls are in the game because most people think "arrow-keys"

just go around... its supposed to have the rest of the people that are connected walking around too. And it dosen't work in Firefox... I'm working on it...

it wouldn't load the map server for me in ie.... i use ff....

Sometimes the servers hang a little. Thats what you get for hosting on a home computer. Refresh a couple times and it should work.

Doesnt work for Netscape 7
I dont think it has the other people on the same game when you play because I had a friend get on same time I did, same exact footer, no other person :)

It also dosen't matter which footer it is. It can be any footer.

It's rather odd that it doesn't work in firefox. Have you tried using a different set of keys? Flash can use the arrows, y'know.

Fraxyl I don't think he wants to use arrow keys because lots of other things use arrow keys, like the scrollbar on this forum, or a game your playing in the background... It is just not to mess your things up :) I think :liar:

Flash only takes keyboard input when it has the focus though, doesn't it? I've not seen anything that doesn't have the focus use the keys, unless it has globally active hotkeys perhaps.

Example: You are playing a game where you should not move up, the key to move up is the "up arrowkey" This game is called EXAMPLE1, this game is not flash, this game is just your average game that just so happens to detect keys on keyboard without focus. <Believe it or not theres alot of thigns like that, not jsut games. Now you play Jerez_z flash footer game and move up, but so does the game in the background. Plus many other reasons but this is jsut a simple one :)

Firefox: Loads, Cant Move though IE: Loads, Can move

Not sure why it does that [?] Awsom footer man, if only there were some more users using it and also you need a gun or something, so it could be like a small shootem up footer, once you die you just respawn...just an idea, sweet footer :D:D

I'd like some real-world examples please, anything can be done in a hypothetical situation.

When I click his footer, I can press any arrow key I like and it doesn't do anything outside the flash, not even scroll the window in firefox.
