i need a flash movie idea

i have to make a project for school using flash, but i dont know what to do, can u guys give me some ideas

back in high school when i had to do some presentation i simply made a really cool intro to a powerpoint presentation. flash during a presentation can sometimes get in the way of the material you're presenting, especially if it's all frilly and whatnot. your audience may or may not appreciate it.

thats the thing, it just has to be a flash movie, and i dont know what to do as the topic... thats what i was hoping you guys would answer, the thing is i have done flash longer then all the people in my class so it doesnt have to be that impressive, they are impressed by almost everything

it just has to be a movie made in flash... i just know what to make it about. The project for me is to make a flash movie that has music and sound in it. i can do that, i just dont know what to do it about, like the subject i guess

a site without any content, just the menu, sound and transitions

how about a short movie about your school or something in your area

or do a music video for a song

Just make a simple animation of the sun moving across some hills, the background changes depending on the sun, the it darkens and clouds come in, it starts to rain, the end...:D:D

I only said that because we have to make a 2 minute animation in Director, and we can only use the vector or raster drawing tools in Director WHICH SUCKS! But more on my animation tommrow when I finish it and post it up in showcase and crits for people to see.....i swear after its finished i hope we never use director at school again!! Its soooo crap!

see the thing is it cant be a web site or an intro, it has to be a full movie, like a few minutes long, and it has to have some sort of storyish thing behind it. like other kids in my class dont have to do flash ( i find it easy though) and they are making a movie spoof. but that idea is taken by them so i cant do that

Flash intros about cars are always awesome.
Get some vector cars somewhere or trace bitmaps.
Some speedy quite line loops to look like travelling road.
Some driving music.

how bout a short stick man flick. have the stick man doing something funny or cool, should be pretty easy.

thanks:) do you know what would be awesome? try making a choose your own adventure flash with a stick man. at a certain point a popup asks the person which choice they would like to make for the stick man and then you could animate each choice. Some choices would lead to the stick man dying but others would lead to the story continuing

take a song with a story line and have an animation that acts it out. some good songs with storylines are:
- the devil went down to georgia / the charlie daniels band
- one bourbon, one scotch, one beer / george thorogood
- a boy named sue / johnny cash
- castles made of sand / jimi hendrix

how about when a blob meets a blob? They start talking about the square, but in the end we find out the triangle did it. That's what I'd do :)

Point is, you can make some cool animations with rather simple shapes.
