hi everybody I'm having a little problem with attaching my hero movieclip to the movie and I'll take any and all help. my fla is up here because someone might want to take my tiles and stuff :)

Kantaman's question may have seemed basic and more of a "read the **** docs" question, but I also had a lot of difficulty finding and identifying this command originally. I tried everything from search for "spawn object" to "new layer" before realising that Flash calls generic objects on stage "movies". It seems second nature now, but at the time it was an odd change of direction.

These and other similar keywords could be added to whatever basic FAQ Kirupa has on Actionscript to make it more findable.
