SANTA MARIA, Calif. - A pajama-clad Michael Jackson (news (http://us.rd.yahoo.com/DailyNews/celeb/ap/ap_on_en_mu/michael_jackson/14537674/*http://news.search.yahoo.com/search/news?fr=news-storylinks&p=%22Michael%20Jackson%22&c=&n=20&yn=c&c=news&cs=nw)) arrived more than an hour late to his child molestation trial Thursday, but the judge who had threatened to arrest him resumed the case without taking any action against the singer in open court.
The singer's young accuser returned to the stand for a second day, saying Jackson gave him wine and called it "Jesus juice."
Superior Court Judge Rodney S. Melville had issued an arrest warrant when Jackson failed to arrive on time, but told defense attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. he would hold it for one hour. The judge, obviously angry, had also threatened to revoke his $3 million bail.
Mesereau, who told the judge Jackson was being treated for a severe back problem, paced outside court and talked on his cell phone until the singer arrived, a few minutes past the judge's deadline.
Jackson walked in gingerly, dressed in a jacket over pajamas and looked distressed.
Attorneys met with the judge in chambers before court resumed and Melville addressed the jurors, telling them not to draw any negative inferences from the developments.
"Mr. Jackson had a medical problem and it was necessary for me to order his appearance," Melville said.

 Yeah, I was watching that this morning... still, I don't see him going to jail. Though I do think he's guilty I still doubt he will do any real time. :(

I'd agree that he is f!cked up, but you can hardly blame him for that, given that he had absolutely no childhood whatsoever..
I don't think he's guilty, just naïve..

but guilty or not guilty I'm just wondering y he's going in pyjamas to court, that's just ridiculous. And I don't see how that would score him any sympathy from the ppl

I think the idea is he was meant to be in hospital, and because the judge ordered him to make an appearance he didnt have tim to change or something. Although I'm sure they could have dressed him in the car

I'm pretty sure he could have even changed in hospital... and why go to hospital for something like the flu in the first place? I don't know but I think all his desperate attemps to play the fragile role (that he is) just make him look worse.

It dosen't matter if he's found guilt or innocent, he will now be labeled as a child molestor for pretty much the rest of his life.
I don't think hes guilty, he's just had a messed up life, with terrible parenting.
Besides, some of the people who claimed to have been abused by him said they actually lied.

From a recording at NeverNeverMind Ranch . . .
"...what this?? no child, it's just 'God-ka and orange' . . . here now have some of my special 'Sleepy Syrup' . . . . . alright now, drink from the devils sceptre . . . but don't tell your mother . . ."
Nothing against the guy, never much liked his music, nor his attitude to life, but he has his fans, and they can't all be wrong about him can they . . . .? (and that quote was last said at a Hitler Youth Movement rally in Munich)

Hmm... There is something inside me that wonders if you guys saying that is really, right. There is no excuse for child molestation.
I had a decently hard life as a child and I really never had much of a childhood either. My dad is a complete and utter a!s and my mother hasn't been around for a long time, but you don't see me going around and molesting children and blaming it on that. That's just utterly sick. And hell, he has millions of dollars for singing, something his parents helped give him a chance at... I don't know about you... But if I were to be neglected by my parents, I surely would have wanted something like that!
"It's okay to have.. children in your bed sleeping with you". Say what?! That's some sick sh!t right there.
Then again, I don't know who should be on trial. Jackson or the parents who let their kids over with him...

But marz, maybe it was the money and fame that got him to where he is now. Think about that. Also, if you had as much money (and possibly fame) as he had, how do you think you would be like?

I don't know whether you are trying to say I would become a child molester or what you are trying to refrain, but I'd like to think I wouldn't be that sick and twisted.
Instead, I just work my arse off every single-day to help people.
Yeah I'm sure I wouldn't be exactly the same person if I had millions of dollars behind me, but I'd like to think I wouldn't be sick enough to lure children with it.
If you handed me a couple of million dollars right now and you gave me the same amount of publicity he has (non-child molestation publicity) with fans., I sure as hell wouldn't grab the youngest one and say "Come with me back to my "playground"..." *shakes his head in disgust* A. It's not right... period... No matter who you are or what you've been through. B. I wouldn't want to tarnish my own fame with stupidity.
There really is no excuse man. Whether you were brought up wrong or not, you are your own person and as your own person, you should devlop your own meaning or what is right and wrong and if you can't figure out that little children are "wrong" then I have no clue what to say. Honestly, I'm left agast!

hahaha, I wasn't implying you would become a child molester or anything. Just implying whats the effects that they had on this certain person, Michael Jackson. Now of course that(money and fame) does not condone his molestation of children. But it played a role in who he is today, wouldnt you agree?

None of us really know what happened and probably never will. Everything is rumour and completely out of proportion. I've not really been following, but I've not heard of any actual evidence against him apart from people accusing him. The only thing I know he is guilty of is being a complete nutjob. Being a nutjob does not automatically make you a paedophile, but it makes you a prime target for people to accuse you of such and make some easy money which if you ask me, odds are that's what happened. But then you never know he just as easily could be. But then so could anyone. Guilty or not, all I can say is good luck getting a fair trial coz I don't see the verdict being based on any kind of truth whatsoever.

Evidence [?] -- There is plenty of evidence that the police have gotten and some witness's. Maybe you should do a search on the trial first, before posting some usless information!

My stepmom told me it was sad that he is always changing himself because he' snot happy with who he is... i think thats bs... if you don't like who you are.. i understand.. if you have a problem... i understand.... if he really thinks he's a kid and that boy love is ok... i don't agree at all... but i understand.... but there is no right or reason to embark on all of them and never try to get help... deep inside i know he knows he's screwed up... but he needs to have the guts to face the music and get help....
But right now.. he's not concerned with that... all the money has told him its ok to be destructive.... his best therapy is to take away all his money and put him on welfare... he wouldn't do any of it if he was broke and couldn't get away with it

oh man, if he wasn't a celebrity, he'd be locked up soooooo hard. imagine, you were on trial, you show up an hour late for your trial, they'd lock you up just for that plus they'd add another 10 years for going to court dressed like that. that just pisses me off. being in the hospital is no excuse for being dressed like that. when i have a meeting at work, and i have to wear a suit, i could be ready in 5 minutes. i think it's just pathetic. anyone seen the sigel trial a month ago or so? jay z, dame dash, sigel himself, they all wore suits, what makes michael that special he doens't have to wear a suit? :h:
