Well some how a pop up opend in Firefox, I dont know where it came from because I was only searching at Yahoo! Anyway all of a sudden my computer started running slow and boom, up popped an alert from Microsoft AntiSpyware alearting me that a toolbar was trying to be installed into IE.
Its weird because iv only just reformatted my PC, for the last year iv had hardly any spyware ony my PC, id be lucky to get 1 every two months!!
Seeing as this is my first major spyware attack ever I was glad to see that MS AntiSpyware worked brilliant, I think its a great spyware app even though its still currently a beta version...
Also after MS Antispyware alearted me about this issue it also ran a scan and it found 11 threats!! Yuuuuuky!
And thats my first spyware story...:pleased:
P.S - Shes all fixed now :D

Yeah, sometimes I actually LOVE getting spyware!
When my little dialog pops up telling me that something's trying to install itself and that it's been blocked, it's so great!

Good to see MS has a program that seem's to be working just like one wants it to. Kind of a novel idea really :D

@PR & Butters: The skin is called 'Roue 204'. Iv been using it for the last 2 years, Iv tried numerious other skins but for some reason this seems to always pull me back. I downloaded it from themexp.org. But now days thats just full of crap when you download skins etc. If you guys wanted it let me know, could email it, its less than a meg i think.

If MS Spyware Didn't stop it from installing in the first place, how is it good? :puzzled:
That's like me and the 'Rhodium' theme that used to come with ThemeXP - I just kept coming back to it. It's hard to find now.

Even though the spyware still installed, MS Antispyware did a good job alearting me that something bad installed, where as Ad-Aware wouldnt have notified me, unless I ran a ad-aware scan. Also the MS Antispyware has alot of other good features especially when you install new software, etc...
