The first one isn't bad. Though the letters following the cursor is a cool effect, makes it seem like a cehap, old school, website when Javascript was first coming into style. Other than that its defiantley a good start.

The second has a nice starting transition, though its lacking alot of stuff (logo, content, etc). But its a nice start.

Yuck! I don't like any of 2. But wait, "site3" has a lil' bit good look. But both resize according to the user's resolution and that won't do. Pixel fonts look blurry and this spoils the whole impression. That's it.

ya Tommy_S is right about the resizing..it does spoil the look to some degree

Prefer 2 to 3. 3 is too grey. 2 is quite blue though, but blue is better imo.

These are really early in development for you to be asking critique. With content and images both of these sites will look like day and night.

EDIT: I know it's early, it's all explained at the top.. Like cyberathlete siad it only resizes because it's a direct link. I'll.. Try to make stuff better.....

BTW, I wasn't really asking for critique, I was just asking which one people think is better so far.... Even though I've only done the menu. Oh and with the mouse trails on the first one, that was just experimenting (taken it off now) :p.
